Does Davis have kids of his own?

I recall in his interview he said some of the sort, "I couldn't imagine if this happened to my kids..."
Was he referring to his actual kids or talking about a hypothetical situation if he had kids? He's not married is he? How many kids does he have? Full custody? What's the scoop on this, seems important IMO

I've read in a couple places that he does have kids. Not sure on the other details.

I wonder if it says anything in the engagement announcement that was in the Post Standard on 9/2/2007? Anyone able to get a hold of this?
