Does Hunt take another snap at QB?

It always surprises me how people get offended on here when people disagree with them, . I am not calling your football schema in anyway to question. I agree that with a little more than a week the whole offense was not changed.
The things that did change in my humble painstaking view:
  • Who was calling the plays plays are called differently (when you don't have tape you cant game plan)
  • Who was throwing the ball you run your offense differently for each player (when you don't have tape you cant game plan)
  • AAM running head on instead of sweeps
  • PTG running long sweeps out of the WR (haven't seen that yet)
  • A greater focus on going down the field
  • Very few throws to the outside with the couple of them we did throw being naked or not with a bunch formation
  • We actually ran a bit out of the I which we have not seen frequently at all and only in goal line (mostly going single back in goaline)
  • At one point had three backs and ran a power I formation
  • When you simplify your offense you have changed your offense (Hackett learned that the hard way in 12 and simplified it and we made a bowl)
GM was on record of wanting to make quick throws into the flat and "allowing your play makers" make plays. He and SS have defended it calling it a long hand off. People have been furious about this and rightfully so. This weekend we focused on going down the field and trying to hit intermediate to long passes something Lester has stated he wanted to do. To many that is a different offensive strategy, but maybe we are calling the same thing by different terms.

I don't know if Hunt would have been successful in Saturday's offense, but it was philosophically different which changes how a defense reacts. I hope when he comes back he gets a shot to earn it. I hope when AE he gets a shot to earn it. Shoot, I hope the same is for all 5 qb's and the competition is thrown wide open. I hope the coaching staff is willing to give it to the best player regardless of anything else than what they showed to earn the starting spot. Long has a great chance of getting a head start on everyone else.

Can we agree to disagree and be happy things looked much better on Saturday and hope for 4 more wins?
I think he was trying to say that the post was trite. Most on here are pretty much are aware of a lot that was in it. You can assume it's a fairly knowledgeable crowd.

How many wide open WRs did you see these guys miss today? I saw none. In fact I even saw them throwing people open and into tight windows.

Do either of these guys miss a wide open Lewis up the seam to start the game against Ville? I don't think so.
Precisely and they didn't throw any int's either. Wish I had your ability to only see what I wanted to see.

I agree with the part about Hunt not showcasing with Lester BUT even the most simplistic throws have shown the difference between Long/Wilson and Hunt. Both those guys threw a fantastic deep ball and got the screen passes out quickly and accurately which is why we saw 5-8 yard gains on them instead of -5 to 2 yard gains. Not to mention intermediate throws that were on target and not within some random 10 yard radius of the WR.
This I agree with. Just so you know I can be agreeable at times. The quickness and accuracy of the screens is the only way to make those plays successful.

Can't see the difference between a freshman playing in his 1st game ever vs the defending national champions and the current #1 team in the county. Vs an experienced QB who has played in bowl games and had numerous starts. You really can't see the difference? WOW!

Hunt regressed from last year to this. Not a good sign of someone with a bright future you waste time building around
But they aren't #1 anymore and its because their "D" has been shredded by everyone this year. Their "O" has carried them to victory. That said, their "D" has superior athletes, they're just very young.
