YES HE WILL-
- During a 35 game season, Joseph only needs to average 14.86.
- Joseph has yet to truly become the finished product we hope for, but he has made drastic improvements every year. 3.4 as a frosh, to 10.8 as a soph, to 14.3 as a junior, means getting to 1500 will be a cakewalk.
- This team is loaded with talent, and included in many pre-season top-5s. If we can get a couple games deeper into the tournament, Joseph doesn't even have to get what he averaged as a junior to reach 1500.
- With the improved guard play, a rested knee, and another year of maturity to avoid charges, Joseph will be able to get back to the successful slashes to the bucket that were a major part of his game two years ago.

NO HE WON'T-
- Though he didn't miss much time last year, Joseph was banged up more than you'd like to see. If that trend were to worsen, and he missed just three games out of the projected 35, he'd need to produce a much more substantial 16.25 average.
- The amount of touches that are going to be needed to keep our bevy of guards happy will keep Joseph from shooting the ball enough times to hit his required average.
- While there will be minutes to be had at the four, at some point, more minutes for C.J. Fair means cutting into Joseph's time.
- This team is so talented offensively, that a different guy will lead the team on any given night, and the scoring averages will likely look very similar at the end of the year. To hit 1500, Kris is going to have to essentially lead the team in scoring, and he is just too passive to do that with this many weapons around.

No. CJ will play mostly at the 4. I see him spelling Kris for maybe 5 a game. Kris is going to be that guy Boeheim leans on for 35+ a game, like he did for Rick last year.
