I work in healthcare, I don’t need to say what I do. Look at basketball players with prior foot Injuries. How many of them are great two years later? Not many.

If he reinjured his foot and needs surgery, he's done.

High ankle sprain could be 3-4 weeks or so.

If he was jumping up and down on the bench last week, it can't be all that bad.

Maybe the players will be forced to actually learn how to run an offense. They can’t just throw it to Donnie to shoot.

Also they’ve all learned that the Nates or Kyan or Betsey aren’t the answer to the offense either. They’re all going to have to learn to play real fast.

GL getting a pro career playing 15 games in two seasons. Probably will have to play college ball somewhere to prove he’s healthy to take a flier on.

I could see getting to the G-league as an undrafted free agent. Probably would make more in college though.

My point remains. It doesn’t matter what the odds are. The odds are higher when you’re not hurt.

Given his injuries and seemingly bad luck if I were his family I would push him to earn as much as possible now. No guarantee he'll be able to make money playing basketball in the future. He's making $1.5m in college so I would think that would keep him from going to make a $40k g league salary or a $500k two way contract.

Hodgson was Donnie's lead recruiter at Alabama and I think Donnie would have committed to Bama if Hodgson didn't leave for a HC position. What pro career though? Who is paying a guy who can’t stay healthy for half a season? Even embiid played a full season of college ball

Not many where he can make 7 figures though.

Pro ball is always front of mind for every P5 college starter, but I can’t see many teams signing him to any meaningful contract until he can play more than 10 games at a time. He’s not THAT good.
