Great news! Whether he's back for St. Joe's or not, this means he is back soon !

It’s more like the Pitt. They’ll prob need to crack his chest and restart his whole system. The fact Red specifically said, "he's back moving" leads me to conclude he has been dealing with some form of paralysis, which would point to a spinal cord injury. It's just like an episode of Grey's Anatomy. Art really does imitate life at times.

I assumed you included them because of their injury concerns, I just felt it was different than Donnie because all of those examples besides Chris were top 5 draft picks after one year of college. I think even the NBA would be scared to draft on potential for someone that has now had two years of injuries and is not currently being looked at as a first round talent.unsure. Just saying I've seen people drafted with both greater and less potential than Donnie. He's a big man.
Those guys did have injury concerns, btw. Big ones.
Just a guess, but I would bet there's a 2% chance he plays tonight, 10% chance Saturday and 80% chance he plays Wednesday. No reason to play him these next two games. Although Hofstra looks like they might be a tough out, we should be able to handle them without DonnieEver since AO in 2010, I never trust announcements that are worded like this. My money would be on him sitting out tonight.
Chet, Embiid, and Zion all played essentially their entire college seasons...Chris McCullough says hold my beer
And Zion. And Embiid. And Holmgren…
I would bring him back for limited minutes to get his feel back, even in spot duty. If he cant do further damage to injuryJust a guess, but I would bet there's a 2% chance he plays tonight, 10% chance Saturday and 80% chance he plays Wednesday. I agree, but still 2 more non conference games after these 2 to get him some minutes.I would bring him back for limited minutes to get his feel back, even in spot duty. If he cant do further damage to injury
Glue?Freeman isn’t sniffing Mock Drafts right now.
Did Jeremi Grant blow it out in 2 seasons here?Zion, Embiid and Holmgren all had amazing seasons and showed flashes of being absolute superstars. Donnie is a potential high upside guy, not a potential generational talent.
Red needs to coach with more accountability, imho.Start him, then bench him at the first media timeout.
He really needs a good trainer to work with him. He has a soft shot (though the mechanics are a bit off, with the guide hand in front of the ball). Our staff hasn’t been able to improve his ball handling and finishing inside. I’d love to see him keep the ball up high and finish over people. It’s constantly bringing the ball down and flaring his arms for calls. The pro frame is there…Chris McCullough was drafted a decade ago. Can't compare that to now.
Donnie is going to be on teams' radars, but he'll need to prove out that he can stay healthy, but his efficiency and production are good.
He doesn't have super athleticism and he's not a guy that can hit from every level (ie 3pt).
This draft is currently viewed to be stacked, at least up top. That'll knock everyone else down a peg.
Hope for the best with Donnie. Just get healthy and help this Cuse team get to the tourney and make some noise. Everything else will fall into place.
