Donnie won’t get drafted, not just injury issues. Much different world with the NBA draft now, guys are staying in college longer with NIL available and so many international players are drafted now, two rounds don’t allow for a lot of room

has the size and skill just needs to polish it up...its much harder to get drafted now with all of the international talent aiming for the nBA too, though...much much harder

He is not a high pick on potential - he lacks speed, handling and athleticism - he is a good basketball player that is tough with good size but not a shot blocker

Freeman isn't a great shotblocker, but has tripled his block% year over year, to 4.7% and is blocking 1.3 shots per game so far. His improvement defensively at the start of this season was very encouraging.

He was nonexistent on defense to start his career, but was passable by his 14th (and last) game last year... And it was clear he worked very hard on that aspect in the off season.

I hope he comes back fully healthy and effective, with enough time to knock off the rust before going into the ACC season.

For the year, Donnie: 28 of 36 from the FT line. Everyone else combined: 89 of 170.

That alone will help us once we get into ACC play in terms of winning close games.

Yup. Freeman was on the court working with Evan Dourdas (Player Development Assistant) for about 20 minutes before the fans arrived. He was shooting mostly 3s. Not a lot of lift on his jumper, but he was jumping.

I'd be surprised if he isn't back before the 1st ACC game, baring a setback.

I think what everyone saw during last night's pregame, was hologram Donnie. The real Donnie is without limbs, at this point. It pains me to even talk about this, but I dont think he's going to make it back anytime soon. It’s incredibly hard to play without arms and legs.
