Rutgers is ranked in the Top 25.

And they're playing well.
20 offensive boards against Minnesota last game.
Props to that former UConn coach (Pikell?). He has risen the dead.

excellent coach and excellent homer court.very small 8000 maybe a few more with sro. wiki has an excellent write up on the rac including quotes from opponents who played there including hakim warick and others.
gets crazy loud when sold out. the crowd is not user friendly to opponent fans though. without going into detail.

b10 is much like the ACC just a bunch of teams.. more because everyone else is down than because they have good teams. MSU is just an OK team but rutgers when they have been decent has always been tough at home. 5 of 6 at home and they could win them all

Not surprising on the friendliness of crowd to other fans. This is New Jersey, after all, which has the highest proportion of morons in the population.

Major conference every game on tv pretty much no matter who you are prime recruiting area and a vet team. Not surprising really.

This year is super up for grabs Seton Hall is not that good and will lose to the first decent tournament team they face and are ranked #10.

I’m just happy that right now it looks like we got a 7 man rotation (vs a 4 man one) and we should have a very good chance vs anyone given the fact that 3 point shooting is our biggest strength. Bring it on.

But that said we have what 5 scholarship players currently giving us less than dead guys? That’s the difference between us and Seton Hall who doesn’t even play a former Cuse contributor.

A vet team? They start four sophomores

Ok well no ones left there early for the NBA in a while. Vs us who had 2 guys leave to go in drafted and an outside rookie of the year candidate skip college all together.

No one will be going to the NBA from RU for a while. Certainly no one on their current roster

They have a tough stretch ahead of them.

I warned you all this was happening! They've got the best special assistant to the HC in the nation!

Both conferences are down, as is college hoops in general, but I'd say the ACC is weaker than the B1G.

Interesting observation there, Townie. Just out of curiosity I googled more than a half dozen sites re most educated states in the US. NJ showed up in the top ten and usually in the top five on every one of those lists. On the other hand NY wasn't in any one of the top ten lists. But please carry on with your foolishness...
