I always thought Donte Greene was unnecessarily disrespected by our fanbase. He had a fantastic freshman year. It wasn't his fault that both Devo and Rautins were injured and we essentially had to go 6 deep the entire season.

By default, Greene was the best 3 point shooter on the team.

The injuries and poor season sure weren’t his fault.

He was certainly very talented and was very productive statistically for a freshman.

His shot selection and defense infuriated me.(Same thing 10 years later when he played for Boeheim’s Army, lol)

Seemed like a really likable kid though.

BUT...he had his best game against G-town...leading a destruction...so all is forgiven.
