Louisville will soon announce they are making themselves ineligible for the NCAAT like SU and Auburn have done and they can use this year as their penalty when its pretty much over.
Im only familiar with his record, can you elaborate?Basketball was only a small reason he was let go.

Nevermind, I researched
Louisville facing new NCAA violation claims over Chris Mack, Dino Gaudio dust-up
In its amendment, the NCAA writes that the Complex Case Unit “could prescribe head coach restrictions” for Mack.theathletic.com
Are these big deals or no big deal?
The timing is interesting. Allegations in October, team is slightly above .500. Was there an internal investigation concluded? My point is, if he's 17-2 in late Jan hes not being fired. The record coupled with the allegation made it alot easier to pay part and not all of his buyoutThe Gaudio issue is a big deal. He's also a lot newer of a coach and has no track record at Louisville. He cheated after the guy before him cheated. He was suppose to clean this up. It's not even close to the same. And Mack has zero ties to Louisville and NEVER won anything there. There's a huge difference.
I'm not seeing this. They're having a down year, but they're winning. Unlike some other schools ...Tony Bennett for whatever reason has stalled at UVA

Plus Tony has a top-ten class coming in next year.
I consider Louisville as a team that is at the same level as we are, I’m intrigued where they go with their next hire, should be similar to what we should be able to get.
He’s been mediocre too, but that is not the only reason he would get fired.
