I guess it technically isn't necessary, heck, they used to amputate limbs on the battlefield with just whiskey and a leather strap, but why subject yourself to the pain if you don't have to?

Steven's heading up there with his mom, step-dad, and Elle. Started out today, and will make a 1-2 day detour through DC. I couldn't get off work before Thursday, so me and the step-mom will get there sometime Friday morning.
