Angeli was a.bigger loss then I imagined This is now a 5-7 team.,Collins isn’t the answer. Carney will play at some point and Collins will transfer.

I think this game shows where the program is. We are growing, but great programs with culture play more evenly from game to game. This is not the same team I watched at Clemson last week. Offense has an excuse, but the defense was flying around against Clemson. Being on field level it was evident. The effort just doesn't seem there. I know Mensah and Brewer have something to say about that, but pretty embarrassing performance. Just shows we still have a LOT of growing to do as a program. Most of the talent are underclassmen. I'd really like to see a nice response coming out of half.

You always improve your roster when the opportunity arises. Did Sellers look any better for us in practice? It's hard to say what you've got until somebody plays in live games.

Guys I’m going to say it… yes they should have been running more but also there are too many times where the run game also gets stuffed. The bad runs (Oline) put the qb in long yardage way too much.

It’s amazing how this season has gone from:

Preseason - “Getting to a bowl game will be a successful season”.
After Clemson (and FSU loss last night) - “The ACC is wide open. We actually may have an outside chance at getting to the ACC Championship”.
After the Duke 1st Half - “Welp, so much for this season. At least Angeli will be back next year.”

I do remember us coming back down 21-3 against V tech last year, and that comeback didn’t start until like 5 minutes left in the 3rd. Yeah we might not have a QB but I trust Fran will at least go out fighting

Watching Collins play a full half it is sort of understandable hopefully he turns it around
