Dungey is gonna explode Saturday

Diveto is faster so now he is a better runner too. Ok

Yeah, I dont care about what their timed speed is. Dungey is what I consider to be a natural runner. He has great vision and agility in the open field. It's impressive to watch. This offense is made for Devito though. He should be starting, but I dont care either way if we win games.

i get what your saying your just wrong. If these guys were pitchers Tommy would be the 98 mph fastballs with 4.6 era. Eric would be the 85 mph with era 1.2. Who is the better pitcher must be Tommy he throws gas and passes the eye test.

As a baseball guy, this might be the worst analogy I have ever seen.

Best quote in here of a post I agree with. Offense is predicated on beating you on every part of the football field. Once a defense doesn't have to defend a certain part of the field, it negatively impacts nearly everything else Babers wants to do.

It comes down to what NC State is going to do defensively. Have to defend the 2 QB's drastically different. But if Dungey can connect on a deep ball early, not sure you see Devito much. Once you make the D have to respect that, Dungey is a bigger threat with his legs against a pretty good pass rush.

I'm interested to see how Devito deals with a good pass rush with his quicker release. I'm not sure what is more demorilizing to a defender, almost sacking a guy to only see him running 10+ yards downfield or knowing you probably won't get to a guy before he gets rid of the ball.

Two things.

Devito has not been prepped for. I have no doubt that his ability to come in to the NC game and do what he did was partly because the DC for NC was caught flat on his heels. He was ready for Dungey's offense, not Devito. NCST will be ready for both. That could cause a drop in Devito's production. He's a frosh with frosh tendencies and once they are on film, they are exploitable.

The other is this, start Dungey, it is his team. If he falters, pull an FSU, throw some dirt in his eye and put Devito out there.

The Giants cut Phil Simms coming off winning a game in the playoffs, a Pro Bowl year and after much more success than Dungey...for a guy who DeVito is better than now.

Where’s Herm??...

Hello??? You play to WIN the game...

Well this isn't the NFL and they aren't paid professionals. You do need to worry about pissing off the team, hs coaches, etc. The fact is this, Dungey just made the cut for a fairly prestigious award. Devito has about a full game under his belt. You stick with Dungey until you need to make the move. He has the better frame, better field vision, and much more experience reading defenses. I also don't see Devito pancaking a DB after a fumble/int either. I have no doubt in Devito but it's still Dungey time.

DeVito is the QB Dino wants to run the offense. Dungey is what he inherited. If you want Cuse to be at its best, Tommy D is your guy.
This ... as much as a few plays he made , ED was as much the reason we almost lost .

This whole QB controversy thing will do nothing but motivate him. We’ve been watching this dude for going on 4 years now. How the hell does everybody not know this? I LOVE Devito and could not be more excited to have him now and the next few years but I’m still amazed how quick people jump off on great players. One of our greatest QB’s ever to play here and fans and local media talk about him like he is Nate Peterman or Blake Bortles.
See you guys back here around 10:45 Saturday night to gloat.
He is clearly injured. Some think it is a rotor cuff but I have my doubts.
Rotor cuff injuries are very painful and I don't he could pass at all if he had a tear. Very few heal with rest only. The vast majority require surgery.

I think it is something else. I hope it is something that can heal before the season ends. He deserves to play in a bowl.

The question isn’t whether all games count, it’s whether all games count the same way. But you probably know this already. It just doesn’t fit your agenda.
Are we 6&2 or 2&2. Or do we just pick the games we played better in.

You forgot to answer this question from above, it was actually the first question I asked so you should have replied to that first. Thanks.

"Can you explain your personal relationship to ED? Just so everyone is aware."

I’m Ed’s body guard it’s a tough job keeping the crazed fans away.

I mean, they’ve been on the board since migration in 2011. I’m going to wager no personal relationship.

i think both qbs play in the first half and whoever is doing better will get the entire second half
