I am a menu nerd so recruiting is my specialty. You have to recruit local for the first 5 or so years due to pipeline buffs. The goal for recruiting as SU should be to lock down NJ and NY for the rest of your save.

Visits have become the most important part of recruiting due to the proximity changes in points. You can schedule a 10 point visit for the top NY recruit, Ohio State will have to spend 20+. Also with visits better the pipeline = better results.

Finally, if you want a guy badly you have to spend your max. Can’t divvy up the points until you are the dominant the NCAA.

That’s a basic overview. Get elite recruiting perk and then when you win some playoff victories grab the two packages that upgrade your pipelines. The HS recruiting becomes a lot easier

I haven’t purchased it yet hoping to have a weekend or two free to dive in as I always have to go back through the tutorials to adjusting and making reads with the game. Happens even still when time allows to play last years version.

I will also say- seeing highlights on YouTube etc people have played as SU it’s a little disappointing we didn’t send in more pre game stuff like the quad walk or even the dome covered in snow for a winter game etc. A lot of other pregame intros were added via materials from other teams.

My first few games, I see a small drop off on offense passing. But it loves Cook and Gill

The D is faster

So far not struggling on D nearly as much, not scoring on offense as much. Many less blown coverages.

But given I am old I only play like at Varsity level

Every game has been tight. Beat Tenn both times I played that game.

Starting a dynasty soon, but I hate the recruiting stuff, there should just be a mode where you play the season and skip all the nonsense if you don't want to do that.

I think someone asked about a college football game for PC, this one is also good for the stat nerds like myself.
You control the play calling but don't play the plays.
It has very deep control of the full program and more for the folks that don't want to play the games but do everything else.

They absolutely need to fix the injury timeouts, especially under two minutes.

Had a game where I was out of timeouts and down 7, then got three straight injury timeouts and then got the ball back.

Had another where I was kneeling the ball with 1:55 left and had two injuries on the other side.

It's infuriating.

Have they fixed the bugs yet? Got the game a week after launch played for a couple hours and now actually may have some more time but not wasting it if it’s the same. Rather just play last years if that’s the case…
