Yeah this is a really nice add. I felt we really lacked that disruptive player up front last season and he absolutely looks like he fits the bill. Shades of watching Jared Verse against us when he was at Albany.I’m a huge fan of picking up these proven players who play at a very high level at the FCS level. In many cases, I prefer them to five star talent that haven’t broken through in a P4 environment.
It’s so critical. I think an important lesson was learned last season - you can be a winning team with a really good QB and not a lot else, but trying to be a winning team with horrid QB play is a mountain to climb.Of course. Our staff feels good about where we will be standing at QB after our portal additions![]()
Dabo's a pimp. He never could have outfought Fran.
My one problem with this commit is--wait, I have no problems with this commit.
As you were.

Are we still 4-2-5 with the new defensive coordinator?Played on the line in a 3 point stance in the 1 video I could find - which was only 1 play long! With us playing a 4-2-5 defense, you would assume he's staying on the line but he's definitely a bit undersized
I would imagine a hybrid between linebacker and on the defensive line.Anyone know how he’s going to be used. Is he big enough for an every down edge? Starting linebacker with AD?
That makes much more sense, seems like a perfect fitI believe in the hybrid 4-2-5 that Kehres runs, one of the front 4 is a DE/OLB type (used to call this the “Jack”). This is per the match quarters interview. I imagine that K. Johnson and probably Tremble get that role. Hope both of them can get up into the 235-240 lb range.
Who else is likely to play that role for us?
