It is pretty amazing how many years Randy Edsall was at Syracuse University as both a player and coach.
He witnessed first hand the growth of the program from doormat under Maloney - at Archbold - to undefeated top five team in 1987 in the Dome.

He has some interesting comments about Notre Dame's arrangement with ACC football. He talks about living with it in the Big East. Views Notre Dame in position to take bowl games away from conference members without playing a full schedule as not terribly fair, but it is what they get away with because of their influence. He has a point. Maryland won't have to worry about it though.
