Emanuel Ross in the portal

This one hurts but honestly when you look at it from the perspective of a wide receiver, this year was so egregious that it almost would be crazy to risk that repeating again for the upcoming season. So many things to fix. So it boils down to a risk reward calculation. And the risk of staying is probably too high to overlook.
Yeah, i wouldn't be able to leave fast enough. Or i'd ask them to let me throw the ball, it couldn't have been worse.

Uhhhh, so what exactly happened with him and White?! Two people alluded to something horrible and there’s no discussion about it?

What went down? Why did Fran allow it before he finally canned the coach?
I believe it had to do with a stolen chipotle gift card. Everything hit a boiling point with the recent BOGO deal

What is it with these sob story posts they make when they leave. Just leave already. We dont need a 4 paragraph press release

Drives me crazy
They have to write these sob story, contrite and gracious posts so teams out there don't think they are head cases. It's almost required at this point.

Rather see someone post their story with just a short phrase..."Hitting the portal hard" ...would go viral lol

95% of the posters have no idea what you're talking about.
The same could be said about a lot of other transfer situations as well. Isn’t it possible the kid is classy and isn’t worried about NFL perception? He was to a degree a sob story and there may be others as well. We don’t have a clue what half these kids go through so why make the statement? in the case of Ross he deserves some grace and others may as well. Let them have their moment and move on with class.

It's been talked about in this thread that one of the coaches had a issue with Ross, but only a select few posters know the details.

I guess I'm not one of the cool kids anymore.

:(

Ross is an extremely smart kid. There’s a reason he was committed to Stanford before flipping to SU. He might be our most physical receiver. I wish him nothing but the best.

Stars don't mean anything once the pads are on.
You're 100% right. If you ignore the fact that Oregon, Alabama, Georgia, Oklahoma, Miami, Ole Miss, Ohio State and Texas A and M have had top 15 recruiting classes...and Texas Tech brought in the #2 ranked transfer class this year. But yea, other than that stars don't matter.

Long story short, he was too hard on Ross and almost made him give up football. Ross had to go to therapy because of what White put him through. And before the clown says something about where I got this information, I was told this by a source on this forum.
yea i assumed white was almost/was abusive on ross (or more)

On a macro basis, it matters because if you have a 50% hit rate on guys that live up to their ratings, the more you bring in, the more you end up with that live up to the stars.
On an individual basis, it matters not.
