What a talent. I love Parker and Randle (not sure yet about Wiggins) but if I had the #1 pick it would be hard to pass on Embiid. Best big man prospect I've seen since...Duncan?

Yeah, he is pretty good. I've heard comparisons of him to Olajuwon. Kansas' frontcourt is scary. Wiggins isn't Danny Manning (yet) , but him in conjunction with Embiid makes Kansas a tough out. Their fate resides in the backcourt,as it seems to every year.

I am looking forward to see how he handles Baylor's front line. KU has a super weak backcourt so despite their frontcourt I think they are going to struggle in conf play and I see them third in the b12 behind baylor and iowa st

For me, it's:
1. Embiid
2. Wiggins
3. Parker
4. Exum
5. Randle
6. Smart/LaVine

If I was a NBA GM my top 5 right now
1.)Embiid
2.)Parker
3.)Wiggins
4.)Smart
5.)Randle
I think I would go Randle 4 and Smart 5. Honestly though, if the scouts hadn't hyped Wiggins up so much pre season not sure I'd even have him top 10. I just haven't really seen 'it' yet.

It is a really interesting draft in that you can basically guarantee that Parker and Randle are going to be all-stars and Smart is going to be an above avg starter. Not sure you can make the same statement about any of the other guys, but also think that the KU guys and Exum (from what I've heard) have higher ceilings.

I enjoyed the Wiggins hype and would for him to lived up to it because I think the more Lebron types in the NBA make it a better product. Unfortunately he hasn't lived up to it yet and if he hadn't yet he isn't going to average 30 a game the rest of the way. I think this draft is insanely deep but not as deep as it was before the college season started.

Randle or Embiid need to go one and two in either order or whomever is drafting Wiggins is an idiot. Not saying Wiggins isn't a great player nor will be but the two I mentioned are going to be amazing.

We'll see. I think there's a pretty decent chance Smart ends up being a bust and Parker ends up being a very good scorer but nothing more. Then again, scoring is often enough to be an all-star in the NBA, so maybe Parker will still reach the all-star game even if he's a below average defender.

Randle really needs to work on his right hand, and I'd like to see him show off more of a mid-range game.

I have to say I am not 100% sold on Randle as being a stud in the NBA as some others. If I had the first pick I think I'd have to go with Parker right now.

have you seen embiid? just curious. parker will score 20 ppg in the league i have no doubt about that. Not sure on his other skills yet. I really like Randle too, but he does occasionally remind me of beasley...

On a side note, I think JP Tokoto from UNC is going to be an interesting guy to watch for next year's draft. Has a lot of nice tools but still figuring out how to play.

Yeah I've seen Embiid play; not as much as I'd like though. I was really impressed by him in the Duke game; I remember his passing being fantastic for a guy with his size.

To me Parker is more of a sure thing at this point. Of course the draft isn't for another 7 months or whatever. So I wouldn't be surprised if I change my mind on this by then

Seldon was pretty damn overhyped.

Yeah, I'd still take a shot on him towards the end of the lottery though. Really nice passer for a SG, and he's a pretty solid finisher and his shot is coming around. Just doesn't dominate at all but he's a nice young player.

The team drafting matters. For example, if Parker is on the board when Jazz pick they will take him regardless of who else is available.

IMHO, Embiid is more important to Kansas than Wiggins. He owns the middle on both sides of the ball. Without him they have zero inside game.

Parker should be a terrific NBA three. He will have 2 bigger players on his team to defend and rebound. At Duke, he's got to do it all.

I still take Wiggins #1 all day, and it will become more clear by March

We'll see. I'm not even convinced the 3 will be his primary position in the NBA. I think he'd be better off as a 4. Not sure he's quick enough to beat many 3's off the dribble, and don't think he's quick enough to defend many players on the perimeter.

. I said that after watching him for 5 minutes in the 1st game this year.

Yeah I was gonna say, Parker is already pretty thick and he is a freshmen. Might be better off as a 4 in the NBA
