He filled the position successfully because he was given the title of Director of Recruiting Operations. It doesn't mean that he was any good at the job. Football is a results based business and I didn't see us with any four or five star recruits walking through the door of Manley. He was visible, which fans like. That doesn't mean he was good at his job.OK.. so simple question then, Do you believe that this position in which "countless other programs in the country had" is a position of importance?
Do you think EW filled that position successfully?
I would say yes to both questions, implying losing a guy who filled a position successfully that we lost sucks, which was my OP. pretty simple man
