But yeah starting on the road as a pickem vs a MAC team sort of says you can't stick with one guy if he struggles.

I think the first 3 games line up pretty well to play both guys. I think Liberty is where we will need to pick one and ask him to outplay a possible 1st round pick in the Dome.

Does it really matter?? Not saying anything means you prepare for both, saying both will play means you prepare for both, and saying one is the starter means you should still prepare for both.

^This^ The only thing that would have caused Ohio to prepare differently was if DB announced that he would open the season with no one at the QB position. He did say previously that SU has to do the unexpected to be successful. There you go.
