playing 2 QBs can mean anything.. 1 series a half for one.. 50/50, planning on the lead and playing someone to finish. if you say TD is the starter then ohio plans on a style much different than if you say Shrader is the starter, they have to prep for more spread runs , but who thinks they wouldnt be prepping for that anyway.

saying 2 QBs will play also means both QBs will be pressing to show even more the last week of practice since both want to see the field as much as they can.

Agree. However I do see him playing 2 qbs to see which one is more affective. Shraders running ability cannot really be determined in two hand touch camp. Also need to see which one can handle pressure, go through their reads and make the right decision. If both do well we may continue to see two qbs for Rutgers. If one elevates his play and moves the ball that will be the starter.
Setting low expectations for the season but excited to see su back in action.

nothing in his statement means he is sharing the job. it could be so. but teams play 2 qbs all the time and one is still the clear leader. lets see it play out, because we need to have a real direction by the time Liberty rolls into the dome. maybe both are playing great and sharing the job, maybe both are up and down and sharing the job., maybe one is throwing well and the other can run and sharing the job.

or maybe he is trying to push one to play even better and take the job over.

This is very simple to interpret.

Open up on the road, in Ohio, against a MAC school, planning to play two QB’s.

What is old is new again. One of these quarterbacks will become a magician. The other will do OK but finish his career playing the likes of Northern Iowa, Indiana State and Western Illinois.

Agreed and that is all Dino was really saying, I do agree with him but whether it happens or not remains to be seen. Any coach would be preparing for both anyway, it's all just coach speak.

I do expect both to play though but even if they weren't Dino would be saying the same. Shrader hasn't take a game snap in well in 18 months
