ESPN Matchup Predictor...It aint pretty

Wouldn't MTSU be a 94% win expectancy? Cuse was favored.

It’s based on how we played. Not on how Vegas thought we would.

If you look at that game and the Miami game you can see how Dungey and Dino almost willed us to a win - after we tried to give it away with really bad 1st halves.

Ironically, we should feel kinda good that we crapped the bed so bad and still almost pulled out those games.

Yeah Clemson could have started a RB at QB and it's still a monumental victory. Clemson has NFL players at every spot. They are essentially the early 90s Miami. We were lucky to play them w an injured Bryant but that's football. Teams were lucky to play us sans Dungey too. We need to keep him upright so that excuse is removed.
It's called perspective. All win's and all losses are not equal. It was a solid win, just with a couple of asterisks. Just like the loss to MTSU has a couple of asterisks.

It was the biggest win since Nebraska with coach Mac with our without their QB

They played in the playoffs and their only other loss was to the eventual national champs

“Solid”

Dabo's teams aren't yet at the same level as Tom Osbourne's Nebraska dynasty. Also in the matter at hand, they need to win at WMU in the opener, or that Clemson win will be ancient history.

Now you’re just being difficult.
I think I give them more credit for the win that the national media and "Vegas", and less credit for the win than Orange cool aide drinkers. I mean the Orange have the best QB in the country so I don't see why it is so shocking that they can beat any P5 power team.

Indeed, that’s why I said “since Nebraska”

Big wins live on in our collective memory longer that losses to MAC schools, lol.

I’ve got no problem admitting that having a hobbled Clemson QB helped us, but your spin is too fun so let’s keep going

Classic trollin here

Just looked at the schedule again and damn, notre dame and BC on the road, outdoors, and in November. That’s not a good look to end the season.

I have us losing both games but have our overall record at 8-4. We're going to win a lot on the front half of the schedule, as is tradition. This is where I'm at:

@Western MI - W
Wagner - W
Florida St. - W
UCONN - W
Clemson - L
@Pitt - W
UNC - W
NC State - L
@Wake – W
Louisville - W
@Notre Dame - L
@Boston College – L
5-1 Home
3-3 Road
8-4 Overall
