Two freshmen — defenseman Aidan Johnston (Dallas Jesuit, Texas) and attackman Griffin Gelinas (Bronxville, N.Y.) — left the roster in the fall and are listed in the transfer portal. Gelinas, who was ranked as the No. 38 incoming attackman, appears set to join Division III power Gettysburg.

Ohio State’s Thorpe No Longer With Team
Attackman Gale Thorpe, who would have been the Buckeyes’ fourth leading scorer returning from last year, is no longer a member of the team.
After transferring in from Syracuse, Thorpe started five of the 10 games that he played in last spring, tallying eight goals and five assists.

That's a shame to hear about Thorpe. Seemed to have tons of potential when he was on the cuse team and had a solid first year at Ohio St. Wonder if the issue is academic as he got his college career off to a very late start for academic reasons.

Yes but he was enrolled and attended classes in the fall so he has to transfer out like everyone else. Same thing happened with Rehfuss at Holy Cross.
