That sucked for FSU but it was definitely the right call in retrospect. They lost 63-3 to Georgia in the Orange Bowl.

I thought pretty much their entire starting lineup sat that game out though, didn’t they? Not saying they couldn’t have gotten trounced in the CFP if they got in over Bama, but that Orange Bowl game was a bit of an anomaly compared to their actual season.

I have no sympathy for ND. They could get into a conference, which I would have to see them in the ACC since they are in that for hoops, then more than likely they are in the ACC Championship tonight against UVA, which they probably win.

Right. SMU lost to Cal in a 100% must win game. Ville was a flaming wreck down the stretch. Mario gonna Mario. Always good for a couple hideous losses every year.

That’s being generous, looks not even half full. Honestly, the atmosphere/setting, etc. there versus that of the SEC and B1G Championship games is night & day. And, IMO, speaks for itself relative to just how much ACC football (comprehensively) is a complete impersonator at the power conference level.
