That’s a viciously legal hit.
I expect they will be stronger in the trenches a la Stanford - and we saw how the O struggled in that game.Find a way?
NCSt doesn’t have a single strength to their game.

QBs need to get down. That was a shrader like run.
He has a history of concussions. I think his career is over now. If he cares about his long term health, it should be.He may not have a choice. That was one of the most vicious hits I have seen.
Yeah. That's a team that seems to be falling apart. Huge expectations coming into the season and those are long gone. They blew a 10 pt lead and lost to a bad Wake team. We need this game
Never works out that way for Syracuse. I'm more apt to believe that NC St was in a bit of shock and unfocused today after seeing that hit and injury. Wouldn't surprise me at all if they rally around that this next week and are pumped to play us at night at their place next weekend.Yeah. That's a team that seems to be falling apart. Add injury and guys sitting out, recipe for disaster rest of the way for their season
Im predicting Cuse -5 . We could lose for all the valid reasons mentioned, but we should be favored. Now state is dangerously close to “nothing to play for” based on preseason expectations. Just lost to “worst“ ACC team at home. This team may be on a similar trajectory as the Louisville team Dungey destroyed in 2018Never works out that way for Syracuse. We have to expect that they feel like they are playing with house money (appropriate Las Vegas reference lol).Never works out that way for Syracuse. That would be nice but that Neck Brace team flat out quit on himIm predicting Cuse -5 . We could lose for all the valid reasons mentioned, but we should be favored. True freshman at QB so you bring constant pressure to rattle him, right? Right? We have to expect that they feel like they are playing with house money (appropriate Las Vegas reference lol).
Well, Wake found a way to beat them 34 - 30 in Raleigh today.Playing @NC State at 8pm isn’t easy. Yes we will have to grind this out someway.
A lot tougher crowd than the Cuse friendly @UNLV
It was just unfortunate. The first hit caused the QBs head to lower into a vulnerable spot. After that the 1 defender in position to hit him turned his head and led with his shoulder, it was well done nothing dirty. It was bang bang bang unfortunately, nothing illegal but very scary.Idk about legal. He lowered his head but there were three helmets going awfully high.
Either way — incredibly scary scenario for him.
Akshooly I think the 3 man rush with different coverage schemes could confuse him into throwing interceptions.True freshman at QB so you bring constant pressure to rattle him, right? Right?
Yep some very tough games, no chumps left. U Conn is improved but they are squeaking out wins against the likes of Temple. So one kind of chumpWe will have our hands full every game other than UConn. Especially road games
We will, as will they too against us. injured pieces to the puzzle coming back along the way will help as we go along. have to shore up special teams ASAP otherwise every game will rely on McCord going insano passing. We gotta give the poor guy some cushion at some pointWe will have our hands full every game other than UConn. Especially road games
