I tuned in a few times. Saw that George, Donnie, and JJ were completely checked out. Suare with a -5 point swing, JJ embarrassing missed dunk. Knew how it would end.

I feel bad for Kyle but really no one else. Everyone just watches him while he battles all game.

Make no mistake people everyone involved with the program is to blame now after a 3 game skid like this.

I think most fans like Red as a person. I’ve never seen someone utter a bad thing about him as a person.

He’s a good recruiter. Great is a bit of an exaggeration. He can certainly recruit talent that’s capable of getting to the NCAAT.

We all know Red’s faults. I’m not going to rehash them. I think we need to start focusing our energy on the next coach. Hopefully he’s a good to great recruiter AND an amazing coach (in game, in practice, development, offseason, communicator, teacher, etc.)

Indeed.

I have no ill-will whatsoever towards Autry. He was an excellent point guard for us in his day, he loves SU and served the university well in his assistant role, etc. My complete disgust is 100% emitted towards the powers that be responsible for placing an obvious unqualified person in such position. That, IMO, rings much louder on their competence, or lack thereof, as a hiring manager and not knowing its subordinate's "Seat on the Bus."

Please stop, he got a GM because he can't evaluate, he got more funding, if its sooo impossible then just resign or don't accept the job offer he fell forward into when he wasn't really qualified and had no value on the open market. St Peters wasnt knocking down the door for him when Holloway left or any other low major job opening on the East Coast for that matter, there's a reason for that.

I am NOT defending Red at all. However, in the NIL era where these players are essentially pros (they are getting paid and paid a lot) they need a lot of blame too

We’ve accepted coaches getting fired for not producing results. Look at the NFL. It takes great players and great coaching to build a successful program. And just because these kids are getting paid doesn’t mean they don’t need coaching and development.
