Ohio State fired Holtman on Feb 14th last year. They didn’t let him finish out the season.

Nobody is castrating OSU over that decision.

We’ll be absolutely fine if we announce Red won’t be retained after the season ends but will be allowed to finish out the year. We’ll be lucky to win 2 more games the rest of the year. Nobody on the planet will criticize the school for firing Red between now and the end of the year.

Nothing would surprise me. We could lose out, or we could somehow pull some improbable wins out of our arses.
