I would think 6th man is a lock assuming he doesn't begin to start and he stays healthy. First team should be a no-brainer also, especially considering it's not just the top 5 players anymore. (I think he would make the top 5, but flukier things have happened in BE post-season awards voting)
Not that any of these players are better than Waiters but Most Improved would be the toughest for him to win; statistically speaking a lot of players have improved from last year. Assuming players stay at current levels, I highlighted who I think are the biggest competition for him.
Cuse:
Waiters has a 6.3 PPG, 1.4 Assist, 1.1 Steals, 12.4% FG and 3.3% 3PT increase
Melo has a 4.9 PPG, 3.5 Rebound, 2 Blocks, and 15.7% FT increase
Seton Hall:
Herb Pope has a 7.7 PPG, 3.1 RPG, .3 Blocks, 8.1% FG, 19.1 3P% and 10.1% FT increase
Jordan Theodore has a 5.5 PPG, 3.2 Assist, .8 Steals increase
Cincy:
Fitzpatrick has a 6.7 PG, 1.7 RPG, .9 Steals, .3 Blocks, and 5.1% FT increase
ND:
Atkins has a 6.9 PPG, 1.3 RPG, .4 APG, .7 Steals, 7.8% FT, and 7.8% 3PT increase
Cooley has a 7 PPG, 5.4 RPG, 1 Block, .6 Steals, .7 Assists and 19.7% FT increase.
Connecticut:
Napier has a 6 PPG, 3.3 APG, 1.7 RPG, 5.5% FG, 6.9% 3PT, increase
