It looks like this could be the most important recruiting weekend for Syracuse. Look like the trifecta of NYC recruits are coming to visit together.

meaning Dec 1st when there is no basketball game, or Dec 8th when there is?

We should start drumming up support for people to go to that Monmouth game and make a noisy impression. It is the first Saturday home game maybe we can get a larger than usual ooc game crowd if we start beating the drum.

I think that was already said on Syracuse fan.com. It might be humugously big or is that redundant!?
In Syracuse, ita H U G E A or its nothing

Monmouth has surprised in ability over the last few years but getting a big crowd for them is going to be difficult. A friend of mine in NJ has a daughter going there. She couldn't care less about sports. Thats just a personal observation not an indictment.

EO has no interest in playing anything other than outside LB in a 3-4. ND wants him to play DE, that was the reason why he was so down on Notre Dame after his visit. We might change our offense to get a QB, I don't see team changing its D to get an outside Lb.

Doesn't ND use a 3-4 set and isn't that why his buddy Ishaq went there?

You are right they do. My understanding is that they want Ebo to be a end. I imagine he would have to bulk up though.

Show him Chandler Jones highlights with the Pats this year and tell him we'd use him as a hybrid DE/OLB. It's worth a shot.:noidea:

I'm not familiar with when we can hear from recruiting, but I was sure hoping that after having a season like this that we would get hot in recruiting. I see a few JUCO threads, does that mean we still are having a hard time recruiting some key positions?

OL seems to be an issue that we won't be resolving in HS this year.

You know something, if we're not able to get real impact OL high school kids this year, let's fill in with JUCO guys who have physically matured and are more game ready. It's a stop gap, sure, but transitioning to the ACC next year (yes, I went ahead and said it), we can't have a drop off from this season, and we need more quality depth. We are getting there, and another successful season and a bowl, and I think the recruiting will swing up. Doug is really starting to get some respect nationally for the job he is doing. If the wheels didn't come off the bus after WVU last year, we could be looking at a streak of 3 straight bowls. And we have been playing the toughest schedules in the Big East.
