Two top 10 jobs will be open after this year, and if Nebraska doesn't go 9-3 I think that job may be open as well.

Who do people think will be on the wish lists of each school?
Michigan seems likely to go after Jim Harbaugh and Les Miles again and if they decline maybe a Pat Fitzgerald from Northwestetn would be a target with the union stuff from Northwestern I think he would consider leaving NU now even if he is an alum.

Florida is a mess they need an offensive coach to teach and recruit a decent QB as the talent is there. Mississippi State coach Dan Mullen is a having a dream season, BC coach Steve Addazio does not get along well with Jeremy Foley UF AD. If Charlie Strong stayed at Louisville 1 more year he would be the obvious hire but he isn't leaving Texas after only 1 year. Sleeper candidate for the UF job Steve spurrier as he may want to retire home and bring his son as a potential HCIW.

Nebraska isn't definite to make a change but Bo Pelini has had atleast 4 losses every season he has been the HC with 0 conference titles. They haven't played the meat of their schedule yet but they lost their toughest game already this year and if you listen to RutgersAl going to Piscataway and going home with a win is impossible. Nebraska could look at Oregon offensive coordinator Scott Frost who is a former Husker hero, or their second choice would likely be. Baylor HC Art Briles, or dark horse Alabama defensive coordinator Kirby Smart.

What does everyone else think?

Addazio isn't going anywhere. It's no win for him. BC is perfect for him and he knows it. if he jumped I would think nfl

Addazio isn't an NFL coach.

BC is the perfect spot for him.

It's hard for a coach to move in conference so I don't think Mullen or Fitz are options at UF and Michigan. Agree that Florida will go with an offensive coach- maybe they run at Herrman or Morris?

Foley might not have the option to play personal favorites as I'm sure the donors can't be thrilled with the Muschamp era.

The only way Fitzgerald leaves Northwestern is if he's fired.

Neither is Marrone or was Dick Mac but doesn't stop gms from making bad mistakes. Just saying he'd jump for a shot at the pats, jets or Giants.

Florida after the Zook and Mushamp hires without HC experience I think will hire an established HC. That is why I think Mullen, Addazio, Spurrier would be the guys.
Chad Morris/Tom Herrman look like candidates at mid level P5 jobs like Illinois, Virginia type jobs and not Rolls-Royce top jobs especially after Muschamp's performance.
Foley will be fine as the Meyer 2 NCs have given him a teflon like respect in Gainesville after Jurich at UL Foley might be the 2nd most entrenched AD in the nation.

That's the thing, Marrone is an NFL coach. He wasn't cut out for college coaching.

MacPherson was a college coach.

In today's D1 world, I don't know if any AD is entrenched. It's an unfortunate reality because we all know $ talks and people are more concerned with instant gratification and not living in the past (even if it's pretty recent). Even Foley will need to get his next HC right, or else he's next.

Art Briles has openly stated many times that he will never leave the state of Texas

Scott Frost would likely be Nebraska's first choice anyway, but Briles would listen to Nebraska I think. He may not go, but coaches always change their minds for $$$. Nick Saban said he wasn't going to Alabama, Bobbh Petrino said the same thing. Briles would use interest for more staff $$$, extension etc.

I think Frost to Nebraska would be the easiest prediction of the 3. Talk about perfect fit. He knows what it takes to win at Nebraska. Would be a good change going from defensive HC to offensive HC. And of course the AD can't lose because the fans will love it.

The fun will start if Miles goes to Michigan. How about the game of musical chairs that would tip off? Who would get the LSU job?

Texas has a lot of $$$$, Briles is still at Baylor. The NFL is a possibility. And I definitely agree with your general point that money is the great equalizer. BTW, his contract at Baylor runs through 2023.
