Time to get into the take business.
1. Our defense couldn’t stop a stiff breeze it seemed all game. I know we had two turnovers early but there is no excuse for 63 points and 600 yards. I expected this in year 1-2 but not now, not with the talent we have. I am confident we bounce back but the coaches need to put all of them in that film room for 24 hours to figure out what went wrong.
2. Devito- I think he played better today. The throwing away 4th down passes is a key mistake but that is something that can be corrected. another week of film and timing with WR’s and they should be a bit better to be able to give us a shot.
3. Crowd for Clemson. Yes we will lose a good chunk of casuals but it’s still homecoming. We still have a shot for gameday and people will still be there. Anyone who thinks not showing up is the right idea is wrong. The loss of noise will hurt us a lot. People like me don’t have the oppurtunity to get up there would do anything so be grateful
4. The season- it is over by no stretch of the imagination. 10-2/9-3 is still possible. After Clemson we get WMU, HC, and a bye week. 2 easy weeks and a bye to lock in and get settled before the rest of conference play.
