if they don't do it I'm boycotting the next fine mess tailgate....I can think about a great way to honor the legacy
I believe they did it a week agodid the BRONCOS hold a remembrance ? first denver first rounder known as "the franchise"
Not pointed at you hoopsupstate but I do have some concern that the fanbase that wants to see 44 worn again will come to resent greats like Jim Brown and Floyd Little (and maybe more so their families, as it is easier to aim your ire at them) for the red tape or barrier they represent to seeing 44 on the field again. I for one understand the unintended significance it has taken on by having it worn by such worthy giants, but I do feel it hurts the legacy and the telling of the tales if we don't have it in circulation or at least legitimate consideration. That said, I also see the NIL challenge it could represent, but that needs to be solved, because it is losing it's relevance as a legitimate recruiting tool, and for that matter as a bookmarked chapter in the ever evolving civil rights story (one that unfortunately for our society has not been fully written yet).Let’s honor Floyd by giving Tucker the number 44.
