Focus....

Seems like there is a lot of focus on Kentucky right now. A possible meeting with them is eons into the future.

Too many major events first:

1. Louisville

2. BET

3. Seedings

4, Hopefully (five) dance W's before we even get to them.

5. The BIGGIE - we have got to get back to playing as well as we did earlier in the season, especially if #4 is to happen.

I keep saying - I don't give a hoot about Kentucky. If SU finds itself playing Kentucky, then Mission Accomplished, because it is the National Title Game.

Personally, I don't think 1-3 above are "major events." SU's cake is already baked, each of those is just icing. Icing is nice, but the only thing that really matters from here on out is your #4.

As for #5, I keep going back to the 2003 team. I have posted this many times - once that team got out of the grind of the Big East, it was like Patton's tanks breaking into the open country. The shooting percentages went up across the board, and especially the threes started raining again. I am hoping to see the same breakout this year.

I don't 100% agree with this... if we were to stumble and lose to UL and also the first game of the BET, that would knock us from one of the top 2 #1 seeds, so I think there is still a little bit of baking left. We want that potential matchup with UK in the finals, not the semis.
