Football is 90% mental. The other half is physical.

Tackling is physical. We have been extremely poor tackling team all year. This is probably Bullough's worst tackling team since he's been here. imo a lot of that has to do with size. We have sacrificed a lot of size on that side of the ball to increase the speed, but against a physical team like USF, who has a future NFL RB in Mack it really exposes our lack of size at LB and the secondary.

All week this staff focused on recruiting down south,we got exposed for being a 3-1 arrogant team staff.

I thought I read somewhere they didn't practice at all last week, and maybe even early this week. Not sure if that was the case, or if that's normal? Just seems like a way to lose your edge (if that was even the case?).

most staffs give there players a few days off from hitting and other physical stuff, but they need to watch films. This staff in the last week was recruiting players in person out of state . This is not Pop-warner or high school ball. The staff needs to stay FOCUSED TOO.

No - Shafer said that's what they did in the past. This year they spread it out more.

We gave USF a gift FG at the end of the half.

We allowed a USF possession to continue when we needed a stop.

We gave them another 30 gift yards on another possession.

That's not how you get Capone.

Oh Lord

I would say it's 90% physical and 10% mental. Otherwise couldn't Ivy League teams beat SEC teams?

Elon Musk could be the greatest QB of all time

We played LSU on Sept 26.

Game week prep for USF started Sunday Oct 4. All the coaches were back by then.

Cordy is probably the smallest guy on defense, but he makes tackles, our other DB's try to drag the player down.

The whole EFFn game was a "GIFT"It seemed as thought #8Corey was the only one that showed up and able to play hard nose football. Now Ron Thompson with little or no help played hard on the D.

Who then was posting tweets and articles saying how the coaches wanted to take in some football games friday night in south Florida?

My choice for our new coach:

Why the heck wouldn't you prep for a game for the 2 weeks? Why take a week off? They took a week off and we paid for it on the field. Bravo coaches Bravo.

6 days of prep for RI
6 days of prep for Wake
6 days of prep for CMU
6 days of prep for LSU
6 days of prep for every remaining team on the schedule.

You tell me why they should break the routine in the middle of the season.

Because this week was like any other week we had a BYE. Why not take 12 days prep? Why waste 6 days doing nothing? It clearly hurt our team and coaching staff. This was one of our most important games as a rebuilding programs and the coaching staff blew it. They could have used the 6 days to prep the team correctly. Instead took a week off and is showed.

Because a bye is supposed to give your team some rest. And why should it have taken more than the normal 6 days to prepare for a 1-3 team?

I don't know why ask the coaches because it seems the 6 days were not enough.
