Depends on the calculation. None of these player stats are all-inconclusive and meant to be taken as something without context. All metrics are best used in combination with others for a more accurate comparison with other players.

But whatever, for some it doesn’t matter how you score points as long as you score points.

That's because normally she is left on the floor when the bench players come in. That usually means with most of the starters on the bench she's in with the group that is giving the starters a break.
And they normally get outscored.

its not a joke. but i agree thats its not infallible and cant be taken on face value as a referendum 100% of the time

there can be mitgating circumstances...

but when combined with the eye test...it can also be very valuable

just becuase there are indeed conceivable scenarios where it misrepresents a given players' cntribution...doesnt mean it isnt useful

if, for example, the same player is always one of the worst + -...then maybe it reveals something
