How impressive was that press conference? He is both smart and humble - a really nice combination.

Probably the best he has had to be honest with you.

I think the biggest thing he did was learn from his errors early last year. Coming off a bowl, he set a bar and a specific number of games he wanted the team to win and said it publically. That approach didn't turn out so great for him or his team.

This year, the "day by day" speech, while boring for the media and somewhat to fans, is the proper approach to take. If his actions are following his words and that is what they are preaching to the players, I think the team is much better off for it.
