For our recruitniks:

1. Demetres Samuel Jr - 6 feet with good arm length and only 17. Ran track with a 10.52 in the 100. He is versatile DB but most likely ends up at safety. He is my top pick for those reasons and it also shows we can fight the big boys for top level talent.

2. Bacheyie/D. Williams/Hawn - TE/WR/OL are spots we can use help in but I'm bundling these three together as it shows we are BACK getting top tier talent close to home and out of the state of NY.

3. Antoine Deslauriers - The Hulk comes in at number 3 due to LB being a position of need and he might be game ready year one. 4.61 40, 440 squat, and 360 bench, can't wait to see what those numbers are a year after being in the S&C program. He tracks the ball well with good sideline to sideline speed. Very physical player that will not back down and will deliver some punishing hits.

4. Quante Gillians - Again position we need help in at DL. 6'3.5" and 278 lbs is a good base to bulk up close to 300 with his tall frame. 11 sacks in 2023, could be the guy inside we need to generate pressure with a four man front. He has played all along the front so that will help him get playing early then just a DL. Seems to have good awareness to help with screen plays and when to try to batt down passes. Added bonus #4 recruit in NY AND we kept Michigan at bay for this kid.

5. Belin/Carney - If we want sustained growth in the program we need to start hitting on our QB recruited, which we have not done since Dungey...ouch. These two kids will help with depth and could be our potential star down the road. Belin is the NY state play of the year and is a good mobile QB which gives him good ability to escape the pocket and keeps his eyes upfield. Good arm talent to get good throws off while on the run or off platform.
Carney has got a little McCord in him, great upside with his arm talent, great arm strength/accuracy and does well anticipating the route/WR. He can throw when rolling left or right. When forced to run he has good foot speed and they do some designed QB runs but I don't think it will translate to College level.

These are just my thoughts from reviewing the players and their film. I am by no means an expert or a "recruitnik" just love the game of college football and learning all I can about it.

IDK yet... we have to wait until our portal take is combined with recruits.

Based on need, Kahlil Stewart should be on the list. Lets hope he is as good as we hope he is.

I just want someone to send Deslauriers to Feldman. When’s the last time we had a dude on the Feldman’s Freaks list? This guy seems a lock to be there from the day he steps on campus to when he walks off it.

Agree with this. I will say folks are VERY high on Bacheyie. Team thinks he’s criminally underrated.
