if they get bowl eligible we should hire Donnie Brown.
That doesn't say that their over under is 2, does it?View attachment 229364
Don Brown and the boys will be rocking this fall
Was 1.5 two months ago I’m an idiot for waiting. I think they will be competent, at a minimum, this season. That doesn't say that their over under is 2, does it?
Taisun Phommachanch alone is worth 3 wins. Was 1.5 two months ago I’m an idiot for waiting. I think they will be competent, at a minimum, this season.
How many schools has that kid been to? Isn't he on his 3rd school? By the way, I have known the Umass punters father since he was a little boy. The punters uncle is the 4th all time leading scorer for the Syracuse soccer team.Taison Phomachanch alone is worth 3 wins.
Gotta have a dream...
He was at Clemson 1 year, tough to beat out a group of 5 stars and then GTech 1 year where they had some coaching shake-up midseason. I saw a couple of GTech games with him playing and thought he had top athleticism and thought he could be special for them. He has some good experience and quality coaching at the P5 level, could really be a game changer for UMASS.How many schools has that kid been to? Isn't he on his 3rd school? Your tax dollars at work!
Walter Bell, former HC UMass, was the 7th Highest Paid Employee in the State. He was paid an astonishing $1.9M to win 2 games in his tenure, for a cool $950,000 per win.
Not to be outdone, UConn paid our friend (and shrewd negotiator it turns out) Randy Edsall $1,727,000 in 2019 making him the third highest paid state employee in Connecticut. His 5 year contract and buyout paid him on the order of $7,762,104 for his tenure in which he won a whopping 6 games. (I estimated his pay in 2020 and 2020 since it was not released). Randy was paid an astounding $1,293,684 per win!
Try to top that Minutemen!

Awesome. I'm sure that will mean more $$$ for his alma mater's sports programs.Randy Edsall just got another bonus for this mention.
One has to be very careful when calling a coach the X highest paid state employee. How much of their salary comes from the state and how much comes from boosters? My go-to example - Nick Saban gets millions of dollars in salary, but only $100K from the Alabama state budget. Often professors in the med schools are the highest-paid at state universities. But their state budget line item is a fraction of their annual pay from their endowed chair.Your tax dollars at work!
