I don't like Schiano at all, I just don't have a problem with that play. I'll adhere to "unwritten rules" as long as they have some basis in logic.Even if you are okay with this, the guys record is a joke. It was build up by playing terrible schools. HCSS is a better defensive coach then this clown.
I would hate it- aside from recruiting NJ what does he bring to the table?Syracuse (11). Left: Scott Shafer. Arriving: Is this the re-entry point for Greg Schiano? Has had success in the northeast, and his name hasn’t generated as much interest at some other locales as might have been expected. (There was some chatter about Schiano and Miami, but it may not be front-burner chatter.) Remains to be seen if athletic director Mark Coyle would reciprocate any Schiano interest, but he seemingly would be a very good hire at a school that has been down on its football luck for most of the last decade.
As icky as I would feel, I wouldnt hate it.
As long has you don't like Schiano I'm fine with your opinion on how you feel about the play. I clearly feel different lol.I don't like Schiano at all, I just don't have a problem with that play. I'll adhere to "unwritten rules" as long as they have some basis in logic.
Is it possible to hire him for a day, and then resume the search for a real coach? I'm very intrigued by this pins in Crusty's eye notion. I was 100% down on Schiano until this recent development. Lets think outside the box.I would rather stick pins in Crusty's eyes.
I crap you not, this is what I got when I clicked the generator:This is fun.
Word is the AD's already reached out to Jon Gruden, Jim Grobe, and Bobby Ross.
Mike Stoops and Rick Neuheisel have local ties, but Brady Hoke has the system to win with this roster now.
Ralph Friedgen is the fan favorite, but it's hard to ignore the recruiting success Brian Schottenheimer and Ron Zook have had.

A friend has a personal connection to Schiano and from what he tells me, this would not be a good fit from a personality perspective. If ya'll thought Marrone was demanding and harsh and a stickler for details, Schiano is all that plus on things that don't matter in the big picture (example: if the facility wasn't set at his predetermined 66 degrees or whatever it was, lord help you).
I would rather hand pins to Toga to stick in Crusty's eyes.I would rather stick pins in Crusty's eyes.
Record at NJSU
2-9 (They aren't his recruits, give him time)
1-11 (People would be calling for his head)
5-7 (Ok, he improved, let's see about next year)
4-7 (Ooooh...We Need A Change...he'd have been fired by now here)
7-5 (He's the savior!)
11-2(Thank you Mr. Rice, can you stick around before how mediocre we are without you is exposed?)
8-5 (No Ray Rice? Hey we're still mediocre...better than 1-11...)
8-5 (Still no Ray rice...ummm...at east we don't outright suck, and we're killing Cuse in recruiting NJ)
9-4 (Ok, a little better, but how'd we lose to Syracuse?)
4-8 (We need A Change!!!)
9-4 (Still mediocre...still getting NJ's best recruits...Schiano better take an NFL gig before everyone realizes his ceiling with the best tri-state recruits is 8 and 9 win seasons with a minor bowl game)
No thanks...I feel like he brings the same potential as Marrone. Better recruiter, but mostly a 7-9 win team (with the bowl) and minor bowl games. Beggers can't be choosers, but I think we're hoping for a higher ceiling than mediocrity.
