Foreign Tours Every Year Now Allowed

I went on the 2019 trip to Italy. It was clearly expensive: 15 players; all the coaches, most with spouses; many athletic department people, several with spouses; transatlantic airfares for all; high-end hotel rooms in four very expensive cities; meals at pricey restaurants; and a lot of nice "cultural/educational events," i.e. high-end sightseeing. As best I know, the cost of the trip came out of the Athletic Department budget. (NB: I and the other dozen or so fans on the trip paid our own way for everything. Trust me, it was expensive).
Well yeah, it's Italy in the summer. Thankfully, I know a cheaper country:

I hope we take advantage. We didn't really do it before, and even during the NIL era we were eligible the whole Red era and didn't take one. Great way to bring together a portal team and start ahead of the curve in November.
Just being allowed extra practices is valuable. The NCAA allows teams 10 extra practice days before departing on a foreign tour. That number hasn’t changed with the new rule, it’s just that teams can now earn those 10 extra practices every summer instead of once every four years. Plus the chance to play together in however many games they play.

Especially since every year is going to have pretty much a full new roster, that makes a huge difference.
