Scissum is on the rise
Chauncey Scissum (Rush Henrietta) - ATH - Chauncey Scissum was impressive for his first time at a National 7-on-7 Tournament. Although Scissum plays QB for his high school, he played both CB and Safety for Team WNY picking off 2 passes and defended many others. Scissum showed that he could play bump-n-run, man, and zone coverages, while finding a way to read the QB's eyes and break on the ball at the right time. The 6'2, 197 lb. Defensive Back currently holds 5 football and 3 lacrosse offers, while maintaining a 3.5 GPA. He is a great student athlete, hard worker, and a problem solver as well. Scissum excels in not only football and lacrosse, but more recently he has developed into a very good track and field athlete. He ranks 2nd in New York State for the triple jump, which qualified him to compete in the High School Track Nationals where he placed 17th in the country.
