Former Players

During the portion of practice in which the Patriots worked on their hurry-up offense, he dropped back and hit safety Steve Gregory square in the chest with a pass intended for someone else. Gregory plucked the ball out of the air and ran for a lengthy interception return before he was herded out of bounds.
Brady P'od

So it was particularly glaring when Brady dropped back, read the defense, and threw a clean pick to safety Steve Gregory. Fans gasped, then cheered, as the defense celebrated the play with chest bumps. Brady was hopping mad, clapping his hands together and angrily ripping off his chin strap as he walked off the field.
B.c

Gregory steps up. Veteran safety Steve Gregory had his most active practice to date, breaking up at least three passes and intercepting Brady on a ball thrown over the middle. Gregory looks reactive and fluid enough to move around in the back half of the field to be a sufficient ball-hawking free safety. He did drop another would be interception, but continues to get his hands on balls. Allen & Fiammetta DNP

That Fort Drum article was a cool read--very "Remember the Titans" - ish.

Also, nice to see Dale Peterman resurface. Hope he maximizes his opportunity at YSU.

SU will be at Fort drum from August 12 to the 18th according to Mark Larson in that YNN report. I sense a growing bond between SU & the soldiers at Fort Drum that will result in more military attending games in the future. This is a win/win for the everyone!
