What I'd prefer for a merit-based revenue plan is this: a bonus for every FBS non-conference win (no bonus for FCS), but also a penalty for each FBS loss (to prevent schools from overscheduling and killing the ACC's reputation). That would lead to a more impressive non-conference win%, which in turn would lead to more ranked ACC teams and better TV ratings.

David Hale was on Adam Gold's show Wednesday and basically dismissed any chance FSU and Clemson are going to get their proposal through.

David (an SU guy) is very tapped in to many ACC sources and of course, is an employee of ESPN.

So maybe those FSU fans celebrating a victory are still sniffing some upstate Florida glue?
