Mingo would slide in front of Wilkins in terms of priority for UConn.

I guess my point is that if we have the money (which is a huge if), we can position ourselves to close it quickly.

UConn, Kentucky, etc aren’t prioritizing him right now. Alabama would probably be toughest competitor.

Maybe Dual was pitched a “ be a star in your role” as a super 6th man / defensive stopper that will play 20-25 mpg between 1-3.

Yep, I think Dual will play starters minutes even if we grab a superstar point guard. He can easily fill in for the 1, 2, and 3. He looks taller than 6'5 to me, he's athletic, and his arms are really long.

Just my opinion but I feel like from reading the tea leaves that this is the guy we are probably targeting. I dont see Mingo being in play...guess we'll find out soon enough.

It's hard to say no to a top 10 player like Mingo, too good to turn down, but for the other guys, it's tough to take another guard who doesn't shoot well from outside

Honestly don't think Mingo has interest in coming here I get people are excited about him but I don't really think Syracuse will be involved

Here’s some good info including advanced stats. Excellent assist rate, great on two point shots and getting to the free throw line. Turnovers were high but he had a crazy usage rate. His numbers were just as good, if not better, vs Quad 1 and 2 teams. 21 points and 4 assists vs UConn in the tournament including 4-8 from three. Lots to like.
