After last year especially, I've come to really appreciate players who don't turn the ball over a ton. George did, and it was representative of his game (low basketball IQ). He went for the difficult pass at times because it looked good rather than being efficient. He didn't value the ball. Freeman did way too much as well but was at 2.5 per game. For him, it was more about playing soft.
This kid turns it over at nearly 4 a game (George was just over 3). While I don't know much about this kid, that is a major red flag to me. His assist to turnover was 1.2 last year. Again, I don't know this kids game very well but that's a difficult stat to get over for me.
