You gotta take those lists with a grain of salt. Syracuse is recruiting Jordan extremely hard; he's said that numerous times.

Yeah, that's my point! When a recruit is asked by an analyst, which schools are you hearing from the most, it could be on that particular day, week, etc. It ebbs and flows. Syracuse is recruiting Jordan as hard as any other team out there...

Duke is recruiting two guards ranked higher than Smith. I doubt he ends up there.
Sure, but there's a lot of other schools with far more smoke than us. We get no mention nationally, only with our local press. Pretty bleak
We recruit earlier than most schools and the recruits are generally excited to get an early or first offer. As time goes by, the better programs enter the picture and we are no longer mentioned. This is nothing new. Sometimes we get lucky with Freeman and White.
Since when has that mattered. They are bringing 3 McDonalds All Americans and 4 top 40 HS kids off the bench this year. These kids fall for it every time.
I agree but I also think they are losing kids to the portal now due to lack of playing time. A couple will most likely transfer after this season because of this. I wonder how long the kids will keep falling for Dukes sales pitch.
Fall for what? Making the NBA, being on a top 3 team, deep march runs and getting the most publicity?
