He's looking for that home and I hope he finds it.
I wonder if there's a chance Joplin from Marquette enters the portal?

He's looking for that home and I hope he finds it.
The problem is that he will trade all of his tomorrows for a single yesterday. He's looking for that home and I hope he finds it.
Good lord what a mindf...The problem is that he will trade all of his tomorrows for a single yesterday.
Is Jay Wright busy? I'm sure there are other great coaches we could find to be an ass't to a guy that will be lucky to have a job after next year. The school should hire someone like Tony Bennett as an assistant to Red. At least you would have someone on staff who had a plan to run a program.
Just get Tony Bennett, Jay Wright and John Beilein as bench coaches!!!Is Jay Wright busy? I'm sure there are other great coaches we could find to be an ass't to a guy that will be lucky to have a job after next year.
How about Red Auerbach or John Wooden. The school should hire someone like Tony Bennett as an assistant to Red. At least you would have someone on staff who had a plan to run a program.
To a worse school and a paycut and having to move? Couldn't see it honestly. The school should hire someone like Tony Bennett as an assistant to Red. At least you would have someone on staff who had a plan to run a program.
Think outside the box. Pay our assistants MORE than the head coach! Blaze a new trail! To a worse school and a paycut and having to move? Couldn't see it honestly.
The parochialism on this board astounds me: Rick Pitino, Jay Wright, Tony Bennett. None of them would ever live in Syracuse. The school should hire someone like Tony Bennett as an assistant to Red. At least you would have someone on staff who had a plan to run a program.
I’ll assume you totally missed the context.Good lord what a mindf...
That is way too broad of a statement. The right players can come from any conference. Better scouting is the key.Georgia State, Hofstra, Delaware and Drexel transfers aren’t going to get it done in the ACC.

No, I get it, but the philosophical wordsmithing is glorious.I’ll assume you totally missed the context.
just the sheer, resolute ignorance with some of these postsGeorgia State, Hofstra, Delaware and Drexel transfers aren’t going to get it done in the ACC.
Yeah, let’s load up the roster with CAA players. That’ll get us back in the dance.just the sheer, resolute ignorance with some of these posts
good coaches can make almost anyone look goodKeep cherry picking. Fact is for every Stirtz there are 10 or more Carlos’s.
Well, look at the P5 teams that made huge turnarounds, notably Lville and Michigan. Their transfer were virtually all from P5 schools, or had P5 experience prior to attending the school they transferred from. Loading up with low level “stars” may work at the MVC level, but simply won’t fly at a P5 level. That is way too broad of a statement. The right players can come from any conference. You should actually look at all the rosters of all the successful p4 teams from this year and last, and note where the players are from. I highly recommend doing that before posting this stuffWell, look at the P5 teams that made huge turnarounds, notably Lville and Michigan. That's not true about Louisville and Michigan as Cusefan0307 has already pointed out. If we are going the mid-major route, I'd prefer they be legit 1st team all conference players. While I think Kobe has some skills that would help us and I like some of his advanced stats, I'm not sure he quite fits that category. So I think we're close to agreeing on that point. But please don't make up stuff to back your argument.Well, look at the P5 teams that made huge turnarounds, notably Lville and Michigan. Umm, no. For Michigan Donaldson came from Auburn, Burnett from Bama, and Gayle from Ohio State. And Golden played T Texas Tech before he went to Florida Atlantic. And for Lville Hepburn frm Wisconsin, Hadley frm Colorado, and Waterman from BYU.4 of Louisvilles top 5 scorers were from MM as were Michigans top 2. The highest profile transfer from a major for Michigan comes off the bench.
