Umm not Hadley (see above).Give ya Wolf, Edwards and Scott.I see you conveniently left out Wolf, Edwards, Smith, Hadley, and Scott.

He started at Northeastern. Just like the logic you used about Goldin.Umm not Hadley (see above).Give ya Wolf, Edwards and Scott.
My point is guys who played at P5 schools, whether it was their 1st, 2nd, or 3rd stop. Guys good enough for P5 schools I’m fine with.He started at Northeastern. Just like the logic you used about Goldin.
Ok, but again there’s mid major players starting on a ton of teams left. Kentucky is another example. Their starting center is literally from the same school as Magee. My point is guys who played at P5 schools, whether it was their 1st, 2nd, or 3rd stop. Guys good enough for P5 schools I’m fine with.
Sure, there are occasional low major guys who can play. But loading up on that level of transfer won’t turn out good. You need more experienced P5 level guys. Not to mention that it’s easier to evaluate a guys true potential if he played at the level he will be asked to play at.Ok, but again there’s mid major players starting on a ton of teams left. i think youre on to something: red is more likely to pick better players from p4 teamsSure, there are occasional low major guys who can play. I just counted 6 starting on 3 teams still left. You want to pass on a 44% 3 point shooter with interest from 7 other tournament teams because he played in a crappy conference when shooting is our biggest weakness on offense.Sure, there are occasional low major guys who can play. Don’t we all. But the risk of misevaluating guys is greater the lower the level they played at. Davis averaged 17, Taylor 14.5, and Carlos 10, 6.3 assists and two time league all defensive team. Putting up nice stats at that level really doesn’t prove much.this years roster had some players that couldnt make the leap...but doesnt mean there arent lower level players who can
staff just picked a bunch of duds
whereever the players come from they gotta be good...low major high major abroad
mcleod cam from FSU (high major) and he was poor
i want high major players but most of all I want GOOD players...and they can be found ANYWHERE
There’s a clear difference. None shot 44% from 3. And none had great efficiency metrics or had the same interest level.Don’t we all. If he’s the only guy we take from that level, fine. But 44% in a crappy conference does necessarily translate to success in a P5 league. It may, but I would prefer guys who had success at the level they’re gonna be asked to play at.I just counted 6 starting on 3 teams still left. And again, if you have good scouting and coaches you will find the ones worth taking, not the ones with gsrbage offer list Davis, Taylor, Carlos. compare the schools they had interest from and compare it to Magee, or compared it to Kobe brea for Kentucky. While Dayton is a bigger/better program than Drexel, brea had offers from basically every single blue blood. Alijah Martin from Florida, FA transfer had offers from Michigan, Alabama, Arkansas. I won’t even use Lanier because he’s been mention a million times. ALL the CONTEXT matters.Don’t we all. But the risk of misevaluating guys is greater the lower the level they played at. lets not forget that the interest has to be mutualAnd again, if you have good scouting and coaches you will find the ones worth taking, not the ones with gsrbage offer list Davis, Taylor, Carlos. compare the schools they had interest from and compare it to Magee, or compared it to Kobe brea for Kentucky. 99% true. However, Cuse can offer playing time on a really big stage. Especially next year with Melo and La La in the house.lets not forget that the interest has to be mutual
syracuse has been ranked for 10 weeks total the last 10 years...not the easiest sell to recruits

Based on pedigree and everything I've read on him, I'm extremely excited for Kline. Not optimistic the staff will maximize the team but confident we'll have a much more cohesive group. We are in a lot better place than we were at this time last year. I don't know how it will all shake out. No one does. But Kline has been on the portal for months. Last year, we started on the portal, after it had started. We didn't have money and even if we did, we weren't prepared for it.
I remember watching Alex interviewing TOP players when he was in his middle teens. This kid is dialed in on top talent. I am not sure about his talent evaluation, but he is part of the basketball community where he can talk to whomever he wants to. Hopefully that results in getting our foot in the door with top talent.Based on pedigree and everything I've read on him, I'm extremely excited for Kline. Visiting Wake SH FSU firstHopefully he visits on the weekend.
