Did the NY high school associations decide not to participate? Is it prep schools only?

Guessing they could only invite prep/privates because of logistical challenges (travel, budgets, calendar, etc)?

Now with 8 goals halfway through the 3rd
He scores at will. I'm interested to see where IMG's Percy Booth ('17 reclass) & Devon Buckshot ('17) end up. Both Natives that played the last 3 years at Lafayette HS & put up big numbers while also starring on the summer club circuit before transferring to IMG. Both were members of the Iroquois U-19 team.

First off this tournament is garbage. Full of prep schools who recruit. Not impressed.
Second, how do we lose out on Nantucoke? Is Albany that great? I mean, we accept hoops and football players who are borderline, why not lax?

Physically, Zawada already looks like a D1 middie as a HS Soph. Tall, agile, & very well built.

Owen Hill playing in this game ? Haven't heard his name called

Zawada dodging from X quite a bit. Physical dodger, likes to lower the shoulder & get into defender's body while keeping his head up. Just had a nice assist to Dyson Williams (Duke '19).

Owen Hill ('Cuse '18) doing a nice job on the FO wing. 3 FO GBs so far

Is it bad I'm rooting for our recruits, but want their team to lose? Ha ha
I want our guys to play on national TV & in as many big games as possible though, I will say, IMG is a tough program to root for. Really wanted to see an IMG-Hill rematch.

Was really impressed with Jared Fernandez, just a GB machine & very fast in the open field. Blankets his man on D & throws violent, yet well-placed/timed, legal checks. Pretty short in stature though, looks about 5'9". Physically, he reminds me of Ralph D'Agostino. I could see him getting a look on FO wings with the pole as a frosh. After seeing Hemler move to SSDM for the 1st time all year vs Towson, I'm almost interested to see what Fernandez could do with a short stick. Personally, I'd like to see both stay at LSM & think Helmer is a future All American LSM

Zawada just ripped a righty shot top shelf to put Hill up 12-9 w 6 mins left. He's had a few strong shots lefty as well.

Edit: His shot was nearly as fast as OX on Twitter ;)
