I'm glad I didn't give Duke my $11 to go see the game. 4 second half goals total. Eck! And the 6-5 OSU/Rutgers game yesterday. No thanks! I like run 'n' gun lacrosse.

Amusing side note: I go to see Duke sports because I'm a 5 minute bike ride from the stadiums. They charge for everything - softball, baseball, lacrosse, soccer. Baseball used to have 5-8 "fan appreciation days" and I'd take my two kids for free, even though I'm not much of a baseball fan. Those are gone this year. Meanwhile, NC State doesn't charge for any of these sports. Go figure...

I wonder which person at Duke pitched the idea to make a whopping $200-$300 on baseball ticket sales by cutting any free fan days. If I'm going to pay for baseball, I'll go see the Bulls game.
