Get Hodgson, Get Melo on Board

Posters and the ESPN radio guys keep saying 3rd year. And saying I'm overreacting too soon. To that I say just wait and see how it plays out. Do we have more embarrassments at JMA like this?

Day man, come on... His team is missing two top players, and his best transfer was #77 according to 247. its not like he went out and got 10 top 50 guys... NIL my a$$. He can coach, red cant simple as that. I dont believe for a second this is some 8 million dollar roster

Per my link above, they had the top transfer class. Top ten in NIL with a $1 million match program.
Good research, however are they #1 because they brought 12 players in? Quantity over quality, however, all their guys were solid no superstars really. Closest to that was Hepburn, I vaguely remember him at Wiscy. So it's talent evaluation and coaching.

SU lacks both.

They had the top class because they had 12 transfers... If you look at the average rank they are pretty far down the list.

To put this point home a bit, California is 15th in the transfer rankings, are we really going to say they brought in more talent and spent more on transfers than Arkansas? No, its because they brought in 10 guys and it gave them a numbers boost.

Its like when Syracuse football was top 30 class for a bit, it was only because we had by far the largest class in the rankings and it gave us extra points compared to smaller classes even though our average/recruit was well below everyone else Now they are .55th once everyone else started filling their classes.

Syracuse.com you know what to do…send in the bulldog axeman and have him ask the hard questions.

I kinda like Brent because he’s good at being critical of leadership while not trashing players.
Yeah this is not how this is supposed to go when the capacity for your basketball arena is 30,219.

Hodgson is the obvious answer and you have to strike now. But everything we hear makes it seem like Red has 2 more years. I’ve accepted the fact Red is here next year but If that doesn’t go well he needs to be gone

Scibilia and Infante will say, we're just 1 game under .500. we had won 2 in a row. Lots of basketball left. I already know their talking points tomorrow. Scibilia might admit things looked bad last night, he will tread lightly though.
Scibilia is wildly under qualified for his gig on air. Everything out of his mouth should be disregarded

They brought in three 1,000 point scorers. That‘s a pretty good way to start.

This is the way but there will likely be equal or more desirable options available. Indiana, Miami, UVa, Nova(?), Oklahoma (?), Mizzou, maybe Maryland, Mich St if Izzo hangs em up, etc

UVA is totally unserious about using dollars to get players. Maryland is 13-4. Willard isn’t going anywhere.

No doubt... There's always programs looking for new coaches.
